Thank you for your interest in Hackworthy & Sons Removals. Established in 1973 we’re the largest independent removal company in the South West. 

Since our company's inception over 40 years ago, it has been owned and run by the Hackworthy family. 

Today 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation family members work alongside each other building a business that has the ethos of a small independent enterprise but with the capabilities that would match many national corporations.

With our headquarters located in Plymouth and satellite crews based in Truro and Exeter, we carry-out removals throughout the South West; from St Just and Penzance in the far reaches of Cornwall up the coast to Barnstaple and Minehead in the North and Torquay, Exmouth and Seaton in the South. 

As well as carrying out local removals we offer National, European and International Relocations across the Globe. In fact, with our expert knowledge of Devon and Cornwall, we are often contracted by large national companies to coordinate their client's relocations from and to the South West.
