After carrying out a successful removal for the company a number of years ago Hackworthys were asked to carry out the relocation of offices from Oxford to Plymouth.
The relocation involved 5 vehicle loads (8,000 cu ft) and 7 crew members over a 4 day period. Removal Manager Adrian Foster explained;” Completing the move in the allocated time was the main priority; we know that businesses need to be moved with the minimum disruption to its staff and clients”.
Business relocations are always challenging; balancing cost efficiently with business downtime. Adrian added; ”The removal was carried out within the agreed time scales because of the detailed planning of the relocation and the hard work and dedication of the crews who worked on the job”.
It’s simply not a case of A to B with any business relocations however big or small. Equipment needs to arrive in the right place at the right time to ensure staff can re-commence their work or so that other contractors can complete their work without delay and further expense.
