Charity
We have recently become an official partner to Shekinah, the City’s leading homeless charity. We are hoping that our customers will allow us to use their unwanted possessions to tackle the complex issues of homelessness, substance misuse and social exclusion. » Read more…

Our customers can fill up boxes with their unwanted clothes, shoes, blankets, bags, and electrical items and hand them over to our staff on the day of their move to be taken away, without charge, to Shekinah. After they are sorted, cleaned, steamed, sized and hung, these donations are used by the charity in a variety of different way with all profits from its Shop funding its Drop-In centre on Bath Street.
Company Director Vicky Hackworthy explained: “When people move house it is a natural time to de-clutter. Very often people decide to discard perfectly good items, just because they no longer personally need them. We will be asking our customers to allow us to pass on these items to Shekinah, having seen their work first hand we know that they will put any items to really good use”.
